CareUniversity^® delivers educational services to patients and caregivers through live classes, seminars, workshops, educational movies, and professional education courses. These educational resources are available online, through CDs and DVDs, by video conferences, and in-person, in-the-field training.

This educational program provides certification of patients – CareMoms^®, CareDads^®, and CareKids^® – who will learn critical knowledge and skills that will save the lives and financial resources of their family members. This program is a global initiative that embodies the principles of “accountable care.” The knowledge, skills, and competencies that learners acquire will help them minimize overuse, underuse, and misuse of their healthcare.

The focus on the program is to reduce preventable harm and cost to families within 12 months of action. Wellness is a vital element to family health and wealth. However, the focus of our initiative is to address the high-impact, high-frequency, and highly preventable common scenarios that threaten families today, which can easily be addressed by simple solutions that consumers can implement immediately. State-of-the-art multimedia and storytelling techniques are used to create “edutainment” that is fun, instructive, and powerful. The program is a “train-the-trainer” model that is designed to give scale through informal and formal social networks.
